What Does Pinkish Brown Vaginal Spotting Indicate?

Hello. I am 29 years old and am trying to conceive. I started spotting 2 weeks before my period was due. I thought maybe it was implantation bleeding. But I just received my ovulation strips in the mail on Friday so just out of curiosity I tested a few and got faint lines wich I know are negative. Anyways, this spotting has been going on for about 4 days now and is sometimes very light to medium and sometimes pinkish brown to bright red. Is this implantation bleeding or maybe a miscarriage? Any advice would be wonderful. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Implantation bleeding is usually lasts for few hours and not continuous for 4 or more days.
Urine pregnancy test becomes positive 10-14 days after conception.
Thus, if you are suspicious of pregnancy, get the urine pregnancy test 10-14 days after your expected day of conception.
If the discharge continues longer you will have to consult your gynaecologist for clinical assessment and thus management.

Thanks and take care
