What Does Positive Leucocyte Esterase Test Report Suggest?
Hello I have been have reascurrent positive urine dips leucocyte positive. I have had 2 lots of antibiotics and was treated for thrush. My doctor has referred me to a gynae urologist for further investigations. He also wants me to the CA 123 blood test. He told me my right illiaque fossa appears full. I have no pain really and feel slightly worried. Many thanks Tara

welcome to hcm...hello tara ..leucocyte esterase test shows that you are having wbc in urine but despite antibiotics these are not clearing it means there is something else ..aa wbc are raised in other conditions also ..as there is fullness in iliac fossa please go for ca 123 test and i would suggest ultrasound abdomen also ..i hope your other routine BLOOD tests as TLC DLC ESR and blood sugar are normal ..
