What Does Positive Ovulation Test Mean When Period Is Delayed?

On August 1, 2014 I Was Supposed To Start My Period But Instead I Had Brown Bleeding For About Half Of A Day & Up To Now I Am Having Really Light Pink Blood Come Out But You Can Barely See It. On July 7, 2014 I Was Supposed To Go Back To Planned Parent Hood To Get The Depo Shot Again, But I Decided To Skip Out On That. I Also Took A Ovulation Predictor Test On Mistake Because I Thought It Was A Pregnancy Test, I Took It On August 4, 2014 When I Realized My Period Didn t Come. The Ovulation Test Came Back Positive, What Could This Mean?

The bleedinf can just be a slight irregularity in your menstrual cycle, not indicating any cause for concern. There are various factors that can influence your period like stress, infections, medications, etc. The bleed you experienced was indeed your period and the ovulation test that returned a positive result reported that you were in fact ovulating during that time.

It just means that you are experiencing a slight irregularity in your menstrual cycle, and if at all you have recently delivered, or got off birth control, etc; your period can show such irregularities. It shall all return to normal within 2-3 cycles.
