What Does Post-concussive Syndrome Look Like In Children?

Hi Doctor! My 5 month old daughter fell off the bed awhile ago. I picked her up right away and give her a breastmilk just to calm her down. After giving a milk, I put her down and she seems fine like nothing happen. I m still worried until now, what should I do? Should I see her pediatrician today?

Hello,

Most such events are not dangerous and do not negatively affect the child. This is the case especially if the child is feeding well and seems well. If the child is irritable, she is lethargic (more sleepy than usual) or has any strange behavior or neurological symptoms you may need to have her checked.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
