Dear madam i understand your concern.in my opinion your are suffering from problem called Cervical spondylosis with cord compression.Even if your neck pain does not go away completely, or it gets more painful at times, learning to take care of your neck and back at home and prevent repeat episodes of your pain can help you avoid surgery.consult your doctor and take his advise for use of drugs like pregabalin, gabapentin,Duloxetine with or with out Physiotherapy with cold packs,dia-thermy,local message will help you a bit.surgical correction can also be tryed depending on your age........regards
