What Does Presence Of Blood In Urine Indicate?

For the past 2 days when I wipe after peeing, there is light pink blood on the toilet paper only. One time on the second day, my urine was a tea color. I just finished my period about a week ago. Shouldn t be pregnant. I took antibiotics around 2-3 weeks ago for a little bit yellow discharge after seeing my OB. Sometime last year, took anitbiotics for a urinary tract infection. Should I be worried?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As you finished your period a week ago, you are not pregnant for sure. As your symptoms you have bleeding from urinary tract which can be due to many reasons.

1.Most common is Urinary tract infection. Urine examination would be done. Presence of Pus cells , tissue and red blood cell will suggest infection. Antibiotics will be needed.
2. Stones in the kidney, bladder or ureter may cause bleeding if small stone gets passed through urinary tract.
3.Trauma by vigorous exercise can also cause bleeding in urine.
4.Other uncommon kidney and Urinary tract problem including tumor.

So you should visit your urologist, if problem persist or reoccurs
