What Does Pressure In The Groin Area During Pregnancy Indicate?
Hello my daughter is 34 weeks pregnant somewhat of high risk and she works a lot carrying heavy objects. She is feeling really bad today and complaining about lower pressure in lower area and back pain . Am also noticing his tightening up a lot more today and her stomach dropped. My daughter has high tolerance to pain and it’s her first and she is 1 of four for me but I’m concerned first time grandmother please let me know when I should say time to go
It's very common to have lower abdominal pains and increasing pressure in the pelvic area as the pregnancy progresses in the third trimester. It maybe due to false contractions which are normal and not concerning. If she has bleeding, or her water breaks, or continuous abdominal/pelvic pain-take her to the labor room immediately. If not, mention your concerns to her doctor at the next visit. Also it would be advisable for your daughter to stop lifting heavy objects. Let me know if you have any other concerns.
