What Does Prolonged Hearing Loss Post Treatment For Ruptured Eardrum Suggest?

I had an ear infection and ruptured my eardrum 3 weeks ago. I was given antibiotics, infection seems to be cleared up, but I still can t hear out of that ear. When should I start to be concerned about hearing loss - when should hearing start to return?

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is perforation of ear drum then it need to be first treated well and area should be dried one with no discharge once this cures then audiogram is necessary and It will show the exact hearing status whether it is hearing loss or not with the perforation hearing loss is uncommon, and no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care.
