What Does Prolonged Vomits From Many Night In Toddlers Imply?

My 17month old has been throwing up almost every night for a while now. She starts screaming when she s put to bed then throws up. She has whole milk in the mornings and before bedtime since one years old. It looks like cottage cheese along with other food eeaten and makes the entire upstairs smell. She s fine before and after it happens. Lactose intolerance runs in my family but our ped said they don t test for anything until two years old. She is a very very picky eater also.
