My Father, 83, has been experiencing unexplained lumps for years. They started on his scalp, then the back of his neck, now they are on his jaw, and he is complaining that he can t hear in one ear. He has had a history of slighly elevated white count, and itchy skin. I assumed it was allergies. But after a visit with a new Dr. he s been refered to MD Anderson Hospital and they are talking Lymphoma! Which of the MANY types of Lymphoma does this sound like. OH! also, he had a biopsy done of several of the lumps and the results came back Pseudo-cancer Do these symptoms ring any bells? What can you tell me about the prognosis for an 83 yr. old Man in this condition?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, in very simple word it may be benign lesion and not the malignancy although pseudo cancer could be slang word and if it is being define then it means that it is not pure form of cancer but it is jus mimic cancer, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
