Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

There is collapse of one of the small bones at the mid back (level D 12) which has resulted from a traumatic episode. It is to be seen how much of the vertebra is involved and if be a minimally invasive surgical procedure called vertebroplasty, the bone can be made of increased height by injecting bone cement. This is a simple operation and takes little more than an hour in most hospitals having the facility. If you have weak bones then you need to increase calcium intake in diet and take dietary supplements.
