What Does "bilateral Cortical Thinning" On An Ultrasound Report Indicate?

My ultrasound showed bilateral cortical thinning and right kidney focal scarring, my last urine calcium was 329 and ct scan indicated possible nephrocalcinosis. I have been trying to get an answer since march as to what the heck all of this could mean and i still dont have a difinative answer. Any suggestions?

hi..
your curine calcium level is very high..
nephrocalcinosis means deposition of calcium in kidney tissue..so that normal function of kidney hampered...and ultimately..shrinkage of kidney and non functioning kidney..
so best way is to control calcium level to normal level to stop further progression of kidney damage
