Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

There is degeneration of lumbar spine disc between two vertebrae which is having a broad base appearance. This is resulting in the disc herniating between the bones and causing narrowing of spinal canal. The nerve roots pass through these neural foramina and you might have severe nerve root compression at that level more on left side. There is also degenerative changes like hypertrophic changes in facets (small joints on either side of backbone) and ligamentum flavum also showing degenerative changes. The nerve pain may be controlled with restricted physical activity and pain relief medication. Please do not do heavy physical activity till you are comfortable.
