What Does "disc Desiccation At L5-S1 Level" On MRI Mean?

I did a MRI and want to know what the results mean. "Straightening of the normal lumbar lordosis suggestive of muscle spasm.
Mild degenerative osteophytic lipping and disk desiccation at the L5-S1 level with mild diffuse annular bulge indenting the epidural fat in the anterior spinal canal."
