I was injured while in the military, was only diagnosed with lower back pain and treated with motrin. After 10 years, I decided to venture outside the VA Medical Center and received private care was had an MRI-LSpine: Please explain findings: L4-L5, small left foraminal disc protrusion. Mild facet joint hypertrophy, mild neural foraminal narrowing. Left more than right. 6.1 cm area T2 weight hyperintensity T1 weight hypointensity with the left kidney. Mild Degenrative Large Cyst or Cyst appearing mass. I am 43 y/o; 5'6; 180lbs
