What Does "endometrial Hyperplasia" On USG Suggest?

Hi I'm a 33 y.o. that is having heavy prolonged periods and heavy spotting. should I be concerned over an ultarsound impession of: "endometrium is abnormal measuring 1.7 cm which may represent endometrial hyperplasia, uterus is anteverted and heterogeneous. ovaries are normal. (I also have notes about ovary follicles.) recent labs and pap I was told were normal. thank you (I'm waiting on a referal)
