What Does "fibrotic Infiltrates In My Right Upper Lobe" Mean?

hello doctors,i was diagnosed w/ PTB 2 years ago i did medicine for bout' 6 months and had an xray after my medicine and the result was "fibrotic infiltrates in my right upper lobe" and now i did x-ray again for the assurance that i'm already okay and as i see my film today the results says that an "parenchymal infiltrates are seen in my right upper lobe" i just wonder if it is just the same results that i've got on my xray after my medicine,and i also what that's mean? thanks

Thanks for writing to HCM

Fibrotic infiltrates in right upper lobe of lung is due to sequel of past T.B.
You shouldn't worry at all.
Infection naturally resolves by fibrosis and calcifications.Mild to moderate fibrosis doesn't require any treatment.
Parenchymal infiltrates in fibrotic scar may be due to recurrence of T.B.You need proper clinical examination and further investigations like PCR for T.B.

Treatment depend upon findings.
