What Does "gall Bladder Is Partially Contracted" Mean In Scan Report?
today i have undergone USG as advised by the doctor. the report shows that the gall bladder is partially contracted.multiple calculi with acoustic shadows are seen in the lumen. mild wall thickening is seen. Please advise whether i should go for surgery or any other measures can be taken. Please answer.
According to reports you have multiple calculi in gall bladder. Its only treatment is cholecystectomy(removal of gall bladder). You should remove it earliest because it is prone to infections.I may also cause cancer in long term. Partially contracted gall bladder may be due to many reasons. It is not a matter of concern. You should consult surgeon. Hope i have answered your query.
