What Does "mild Bilateral Maxillary Sinusitis" In An X Ray Report Indicate?

I am 23 M.
For the past 10 years I have been experiencing runny nose , frequently sneezing. I experience continue sneezing by ( change from shadow to sunny light or vice versa , whenever I step barefoot on a wet surface, a slight pressing of a nose , sleeping under a fan , after taking a shower.)

I took XRAY of my nose (PARANASAL WATER/CADWELLA VIEW)

Report:
1. Mild mucosal thickening is seen in both maxillary sinuses with mild deviation of the bony.
2. Nasal septum to thr right side.
3. Frontal and anterior ethmoidal sinuses appear clear.
4.The bony margins of the orbits and paranasal sinuses appear normal.

IMPRESSION : MILD BILATERAL MAXILLARY SINUSITIS.

i understand your concern

Your Xray report suggests that there is mild thickening of the mucosal lining of both maxillary sinuses, this indicates that you are suffering from low grade maxillary sinusitis.

Mild deviation of the nasal septum to the right might as well contribute to the delayed drainage of maxillary sinus.

Maxillary sinus is one of the four paranasal sinuses. The Maxillary sinus is the largest of the paranasal sinuses. The two maxillary sinuses are located below the cheeks, above the teeth and on the sides of the nose. The maxillary sinuses are shaped like a pyramid. The sinuses are tiny air-filled holes found in the bones of the face which reduce skull weight, produce mucus, and affect the tone quality of a person's voice. The maxillary sinus drains into the nose through a hole called the ostia. When the ostia becomes clogged sinusitis can occur. The ostia of the maxillary sinus often clog because the ostia are located near the top of the maxillary sinus causing drainage to be difficult. Sinusitis is the most common of maxillary sinus illnesses and is usually treated with prescription antibiotics.
