What Does "mild Promience Of Folds In The Gastric Body" Indicate?

I was given the results of a upper gi with contrast that I had a mild promience of folds in the gastric body. What does that mean? I am sixty year old, female and weigh 155 lbs, 5ft and7ins. I have been having pain in arm neck and chest and integestion. They ruled out that it was my heart.

I am taking medication for acid reflux and I am feeling better.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Presence of prominent gastric folds in stomach is a non-specific finding.
These findings have to be correlated with clinical findings.
Pain in arm, neck and chest could be due to gastric problems.
If there are associated symptoms of reflux and regurgitation, then gastro-esophageal reflux disease should be ruled out.
I suggest you to consult a physician for clinical assessment and thus treatment.

Thanks and take care
