What Does "probable Old Anteroseptal Infarct & Diffuse Nonspecific T Abnormalities" Mean In ECG
Im a 53 yr old female @185lbs. Have had several surgerys, most recent back surgery in 9/08. Ive been treated for major depression & severe anxiety for 18yrs. Im a recently quit x-smoker, whom smoked for aprox 40 yrs. I had a abnormal ECG stating probable old Anteroseptal infarct & diffuse nonspecific T abnormalities. Can you tell me what this means & how soon should I see a DR. Also my blood work-my red cell ct was high, & cholesterol was 253. LDL Chol 184 & LDL/HDL 4.60.
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should definitely consult cardiologist. You are having many risk factors for cardiovascular diseases. 1. Age 2. Postmenopausal female 3. Past smoker 4. Very high LDL 5. By your ration HDL seemed low. 6. ECG changes. All these makes you atherogenic and chances of having coronary artery disease is very high. So better to consult cardiologist.
