Hi,

I can understand your concern for your symptoms,
Normal sperm should be more than 50% motile
To say Normal progressive motility needs to be 25 micrometres a second

Low motility Due to
1.     Infection due to sexually and non sexually transmitted infection
2.     Injury
3.     Inborn errors
4.     undescended testicles
5.     Previous surgery
6.     Testicular malignancy

Some common, non-specific ways of treatment:
1.     Healthy food – High coloured fruits and vegetables, eggs, dark chocolate, walnuts.
2.     Environment and work causing increase temperate in scrotum e.g.: long drive, use of laptop on lap
3.     Wearing tight dress
4.     Alcohol and smoking
5.     Good sleep
6.     Regular exercise
7.      Avoid packed or frozen food

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
