What Does Raised Circular Red Area With White Dot On Thigh Mean?

Hello, I have have a raised circular red area with a tiny white dot in the center about the size of a needle head on my thigh. It s been there approx 2 months. It does not bother me while I m walking. However, if I press down on it, it s painful. Do you know what this is? A bite? Infection? Thank you for your time!

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be insect bite. Kindly consult the dermatologist for perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would suggest...

- antibiotic cream application
- oral antibiotics
- steroid in tapering dose
- protection from insect bite

I hope this would improve the condition.

Thanks..
