What Does Random Electric Shock Pain Inside Right Ankle Mean?

Hi. For the last 2 weeks I've been getting random electric shock pains under the inside of my right ankle. It last between 5 and 10 seconds, but it is excruciating. I can't predict when it will happen, sitting down or standing up. Usually happens once or twice a day, but last night I had a series of them in a 2 hour time frame. I can't figure out why it happens and what it is.
