What Does Recurring Spotting With Brown Clots Post Sex Suggest?
i had sex on Monday and noticed I was bleeding small amounts of pink blood, the bleeding stopped for that day but continued the next morning but was just a small amount and stopped again but this time small blood clots came out. The following day I did not bleed but brownish blood clots came out. Is this a serious issue or what is happening to me ?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
First time you must had bleeding from cervix ( the lower part of uterus). The bleeding is different from normal period, bleeding from cervix is pinkish red in colour & is light lasting for just 1-2 days. Even when cervix is healthy, vigorous sex can cause some bleeding. This mostly occurs when you have vaginal dryness or less vaginal lubrication. Now you are having brownish clots, this could mean that you are having your normal period now. This brown discharge should lasts for 5-7 days to be called a period. Bleeding from cervix can be because of some abnormality in cervix. In case of cervix abnormality, even gentle sex can cause much bleeding. If you have never got a pap smear test done previously, You are advised a pap smear to ruleout a cervix problem.
Refer to a gynaecologist. Hope this information helps
