What Does Redness On The Eyelid Indicate?
I woke up with a bit of a black eye. Throughout the day it has gotten worse. The eyelid is very red but black on either side of the eye but not sore. I just got back from Europe and caught a bad cold. Could the cause be from coughing? No injury involved.

it may be conjuctival hemorrhage following hypertention or trauma redness in eye lid can be inflamatory or allergic involvment you had common cold which can be related get your eye examined by eye doctor can apply cold compression get your eye examined by eye doctor for examination and advise on treatment. it can be blepharitis or st ye. clean your eye lid with sterile swab and for st ye epilation is recomanded
