My health screening report showing as below:"A hypoechooic lesion is seen in the periphery of the upper pole of the right kidney, measuring 9mm. This has the appearance of o benign cyst. An echogenic shadow is seen in the upper pole of left kidney, measuring 6 mm.This is consistent with a calculus. There is no hydronephrosis.No other focal and no mass lesion is seen in the liver, pancreas, spleen and the rest of the kidneys.The pancreas is not optimally displayed. The liver parenchyma returns homogenous echoes.The bile ducts are not dilated and the common duct has a normal calibre of 2.9mm.The gallbladder shows a normal size and shape. Its walls are not thickened. No gallstone is seen.The right Kidmeu measures 91mm and the left 82 mm in lenght."My BMI 21.29 ( height 167.60, weight 59.80, age 39 ) 2 month before detected kidney stone size 7 mm. now I a taking enoght water and herbel medicine. No other health problem. Is any serious hidden health problem ?
1. Stone in upper pole of left kidney measuring 6 mm. This is a small stone and as you have said, it was 7 mm earlier, you can continue drinking good amounts of fluids and the stone can get flushed out of your system. There will be little pain when the stone is on its way out and you might have to take pain relief medications.
2. There is also a simple cyst in upper pole of right kidney measuring 9 mm. This is a very small cyst and nothing to worry about.
You may get the stone and cyst reviewed after 3 or 6 months by ultrasound.
