What Does Semen Analysis As Sperm Count 49million Suggest?

hi my semen analysis is as follows sperm count = 49 millionmorphology normal = 74% abnormal is 26 % motility 80% motile and 20% non motile liquefaction time 60 minutes puss cells in 5-7/hpf blood cells 8-10/ hpfwas my result normal? can i be a father soon? thank you very much

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your semen analysis report suggests infection .
Infection is indicated by the presence of pus cells,RBC in semen. Normally there shouldn't be any pus cells in semen.
Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI etc.
You need antibiotics for infection.
You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,Semen culture and sensitivity,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed after culture and sensitivity report.

Other factors like sperm count,motility and morphology are within normal limit.
