My semen analysis report. Volume-2.0 ml Liquefacton time-more then 60 mins viscosity-highly viscous total sperm count-55.0 ml motility active-30% pus cells-20-25 hpf
can anyone explain me what is mean by highly viscous and pus cell,..........pls help me
Your semen analysis report suggests infection. This is indicated by presence of pus cells. Normally there shouldn't be any pus cells in semen.Liquefaction time is also increased due to infection. Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI etc. You need antibiotics for infection. Other investigation like routine hemoram,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed. Rest of the findings like count is normal. It is not proper to comment on motility with this data. Hope i have answered your query.
