What Does Semen Analysis Suggest?

Sir, recently i got my semen analysis report, Volume: 4.30, Viscosity: Normal, P.H. =8, Spermcount : 18,500/ml, Motility 50% (High Progressive-A=20, Low Progressive-B=35, Non Progressive-C=5, Non Motile-D=40), Sperm Morphology 60%- Normal:90%, Abnormal :10%, Please suggest me that as per the above report, could i become a father, what can i do :(

Thanks for writing to us

Your semen analysis report suggests decreased sperm motility and low sperm count.

Sperm motility should be at least 55 %.
Sperm count should be at least 20 millions /ml.

You should do exercise and take nutritious food.
You should avoid tight underpants.
Avoid cigarettes and alcohol if you take these things.
You also need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,RBS,hormone assay,Ultrasound of scrotum.Further investigations can be done if needed.

If low sperm motility persists then you may need assisted fertilization techniques like IUI.

Other factors like sperm morphology is normal.
