What Does Semen Analysis Suggest?

Hello Sir,I just had my Semen analysis and as per report my Motility & Morphology is as follow – Motility Grade 0 – Immotile : 20% Grade 1 – Moving in Place:10% Grade 2 – Erratic Circul: 15%Grade 3 – Purposeful Forward: 20% Grade 4 – Rapid Forward: 35%Morphology Abnormal Heads: 10% Abnormal Neck: 10% Abnormal Tail: 10% Total Abnormal Sperm: 30% Oval Head: 70% Can you please tell me is this report is normal or not. Thanks in advance

Hi
Regarding sperm motility, normally at least 60 percent of the total should have rapid progressive or forward movement. Normal limits for morphology is 60 percent which is well within normal range. However you have not mentioned about the count and other parameters like cell count, liquefaction. Do check with your doctor for presence of infection which could have altered the motility.
