What Does Severe Abdominal Pain On The Right Side Indicate?
I was doing the Keto diet for 4 weeks before having some GI upset (gas bloating etc). Went off Keto and GI issues continued and worsened. I have had 3 episodes of severe abdominal pain, upper middle and R abdomen. The last of which sent me to the ER. Ultrasound and CT w contrast showed no acute problems. Followed up with PMD and scheduled a HIDA scan. Gallbladder ejection is 24%. They want to remove the gallbladder. My question, could the Keto diet cause this? Can the Gallbladder function improve? are there any other tests they need to perform prior to removal?

You can take Ofloxacycilin and Ornidazole combination twice a day for five days take Paracetamol 2 times a day for five days take Omeprazole twice a day for five days. Do ultrasound for better treatment. You can consult surgeon if symptoms persists.
