What Does Severe Backache Indicate?

My husband is 69, he his experiencing severe pain in lower back only when sitting or lying down. He had an attack of this same pain ten years ago. Heat, pressure , NAISDS relieves it, temporarily. Ten years ago it resolv ed in @ 6-8 hours. Since then however, he also experiences shortness of breath, dizziness, balance issues and 24 hours ago he got this weird pain again. He does not smoke, drink or take any medication. I m concerned this incident is a abdominal aneurysm. He won t listen to me. Never sees a doctor for anything. we are both lawyers high stress life. kdevane
