What Does Severe Backache On The Right Side Indicate?

I was taking off a dance costume and all of the sudden I felt a shooting pain in the right side of my back, like the back of my rib cage. It hurts throughout the bottom of my rib cage and it is really hard to breathe, As well as it is extremely painful. Do you have any idea what kind of injury this could be? I can’t stand straight either

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Generally such type of pain are from muscles. i,e. muscles are stretched and goes into spasms , this is what appear to me. However, I would like you get an X-ray to rule out lung problems which seem unlikely here but still a possibility. At the moment you can get some rest, some painkiller and massage of the effected part.
