What Does Severe Pain And Burning Sensation On The Left Foot Indicate?

What is causing me to have an excruciating stabbing, burning, electrical pains in my left foot pad near little toe. It comes and goes like labor pains do. If I bend over or go into fetal position it stops. My leg goes into a tremor and it hurts so bad when it hits I have to let out a yell.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The type of pain that you are describing sound like nerve related pain, neuralgia.

Neuralgia is due to neuropathy (abnormal function of the nerves). Neuropathy can be temporary or permanent and there are different possible causes.
Some of the more common causes are--(1)trauma to the nerves either in the spine or as they pass from the spine to the different areas
(2)diabetes
(3)infection
(4)liver or kidney disease
(5)exposure to toxins
(6)thyroid disease
(7)low vitamin b12 or folate
(8)abnormal vitamin b6 levels
(9)ms or stroke

In some persons the cause is not found.

You may need to be seen if the symptoms continue.

There are medications that can help with neuropathy

I hope this helps
