What Does Severe Pain From The Neck To The Right Shoulder Indicate?

I have severe neck pain that radiates to right shoulder and down right arm, also down towards middle of spine. Pain caused by MS Flareup in Cervical Spine. Dr gave me a steroid today also yesterday gave me an anti-inflamatory and muscle relaxer. Is Steroids used for pain management?

Yes, steroid may be used for pain but in your case these are given for MS (Multiple Sclerosis) flare up.
