Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m 32, almost 300 pounds. I used to eat a lot of salt, sugar, fast food ect. I do a lot better now than I used to, but I still need to improve a lot. Lately, I sometimes have pains in my left arm. It isn t severe pain, just irritating more than anything but it does happen about everyday. I was just wondering if I could have a heart attack or heart disease at this early in age or is there time to change? And I have made a lot of small changes such as there are a lot of bad foods I used to eat that I don t eat anymore. Does making even small changes improve my heart health?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, as long as the heart disease is concern it can not be ruled out until and unless tested, if it is the doubtful then better to get done the EKG test, have balance diet and stress free, else it may not be any heart disease hope this information helps.
