What Does Severe Pain In The Abdomen On The Right Side Indicate?

Approx 3wk ago, I developed severe pain in my entire right abdomen. Nothing helped. Took simethicone, antacids, tums, alka selzer, and walked. Pain severe x 2days. Over next 2-3 days, improved. Had right abdomen ultrasound Fri. If I had kidney stone and passes it, would ultrasound show any abnormalities now? ? Ultrasound included liver, gallbladder, everything on right side. No nausea at that time, although I do have N & V about every 2 WK. Thank you

I can understand your concern.
Yes, passing uteretic stone can cause pain, vomiting.
Ultrasound can be normal if stone is
1. In the ureter
2. Passed from ureter and in bladder.
So you might be having right ureteric stone which is passed out by the time your went for ultrasound so your ultrasound came back negative.
Another possibility is urinary tract infection.
So also get done urinary microscopic examination.
