General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you have the history of trauma or injury due to heavy exercise, then muscular strain or ligament strain could be the possibility. But if no traumatic history, then rule out vascular cause like deep vein thrombosis by color Doppler USG if needed.

In the muscular strain, Ibuprofen medicine can be prescribed, and elastic wrap can be wear. So it depends on the cause to choose treatment. Also, consult surgeon or physician for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
