Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have sudden, without injury, pain and throbbing at the inside crease of my elbow, near the medial artery.. I have no swelling, bruising, or lump of any kind. No numbness or tingling in any part of my arm, hand or fingers... can t figure it out.. What do you think?
Sudden pain without any reason is unusual. I don't know if your ulnar nerve is compressed in the cubital fossa or at the medial epicondyle or not without an examination. It becomes difficult for us to tell you any etiology without proper history. If it was only once my suggestion is not to worry about it much. If it is recurring then you can get back to us. I don't think any painkiller is also necessary for you at this stage.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
