What Does Severe Pain In The Hands Indicate?

i have a lot of pain in my hands (joint related) mostly in the morning. I have difficulty gripping things that have any weight. I am a 26 year old female. not pregnant. have an IUD. usually the pain is nearly unbearable in the mornings if i sleep on my stomach.

You need to be tested for rheumatoid arthritis. This can cause the problems you describe and needs treatment to keep it from progressing. See a doctor soon.
