What Does Severe Pain In The Hips Indicate?
For several years I have been treated for lower back pain & bursitis in the left hip. About two months ago, might right hip starting to hurt so badly that I have difficulty raising up from a sitting position. My joints & muscles are also hurting badly.

I can understand your concern. You havent mentioned your age. I assume you are around 50 based on your history.
Bursitis can lead to sharp burning pain. But it usually goes away with pain killers.
You may be having a nerve impingement leading to your symptoms. I would advise you to get a MRI lumbo sacral spine to look for the same. Treatment can be done based on the results.
