What Does Severe Pain In The Shoulders Indicate?

Last night, i was going thru Walmat when pain in my shoulder started. By 2 am i was having severe pain. The pain was sharp pain that went down my arm, it was a thumping pain. it matched my heartbeat. This continued thru out the rest of the night. i feel ok now, i am not sore but really tired.

If there is no history of trauma then it may be best to be seen to find the cause of the severe pain.

This would require physical examination and possibly imaging such as an x ray.

You can consider the use of anti inflammatory medication such as naproxen or ibuprofen to see if one of these would be helpful in relieving your discomfort.
