What Does Severe Pain In The Upper Abdomen Indicate?

At about 3am I was awakened with a horrible, burning pain in the upper part of my stomach. I was so uncomfortable so I went to the bathroom to see if I could go to the bathroom. I suddenly felt nauseous but rather than vomit, saliva began to oddly pour out of my mouth. This lasted for about 20 mins or so...I also have leukemia (CLL) and was diagnosed with it in August. Any idea what might be going on?

Hello dear. It seems you have gastric reflux that is stomach fluid comming up to oesophage and mouth. I recomand you to eat supper three hours before going to bed, sleep with more pillows to elevate your head and try to minimise acidic food. I think it is not directly related to cll. Best regards.
