What Does Severe Pain In The Upper Thighs Indicate?
I had been sitting in nearly the same position for quite some time (6+ hours). I got up out of that office chair and before I even took my first step, I heard / felt a pop as well as feeling very sharp pain in my upper left thigh, deep inside. this pain travels from deep inside my left groin area to my upper left thigh 9as high as the thigh muscles go. This all took place 12 days ago (on a Friday). Heat pads and hot water relax most of the pain. When the area cools the pain accelerates. 5 days ago I went to ER due to ongoing pain. CAT scan shows nothing serious / no dislocation... Dr s say tore muscles take time to heal and recommended my Doctor prescribe physical therapy (my Dr out of town until early January 2018). I m missing lots of time at my job as well as activities with my family / friends... What movement, is recommended to help heal this form of injury?
