What Does Severe Pressure In The Lower Back Indicate?

18 yrs ago I was assaulted on my lower back with a wood broomstick. now my back draws extreme pressure - till it makes a pop deep in the back then the pressure is released and the pain leaves for a while till the pressure builds up again. what would that pop noise be. its always in the same place, the loudness of it differs though.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your description, problem is at the level of spine. Without MRI reports, it is difficult to find what pathology is there in vertebrae.

I advise you to consult neurosurgeon and get your MRI spine done. He will guide you further whether physiotherapy will help you or surgical intervention is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hiren Hirpara
