What Does Sharp Pain Around The Appendix Indicate?
Hi! My name is Richard Bradley and i have a good question to ask you, right where my apendix is at, i been having dull and sharp pain where my apendix is at, it hurts so bad but, I'm not vomiting yet and while I'm walking, the pain gets severe and i can only walk slow, because that's how bad my pain is getting. Any suggestion???

1. Although there are many conditions that can cause mild to severe discomfort in the right abdominal area, most of the time, pain in right lower abdomen is nothing to worry about and will go on its own in a day or two.
PS. If you are experiencing persistent discomfort, you should see a doctor or visit an ER [emergency room], they will either send you home with the treatment plan or admit you to the hospital for further observation.
2. It is best to avoid any medications unless prescribed by your doctor as part of your treatment plan.
3. As pain is getting severe while walking, urgent surgical consultation is warranted to exclude peritonitis/or impending perforation [immediate surgical exploration is needed]
