What Does Sharp Pain In The Ankles Indicate?

Within the past few hours I have started having a sharp unexplained pain in my right ankle. It lasts about two seconds and then goes away. It has happened about 5 times in the last 3 hours and most recently woke me up from a deep sleep. I haven t done anything at all to injure it.

Hello,

Your problem can be due to vitamin D deficiency. Checking blood levels of vitamin D and B12 levels in blood will be helpful to rule out this. In such case taking vitamin D and B12 supplements will be helpful.
