What Does Sharp Pain In The Left Side Of The Abdomen Indicate?
What could be the cause of sharp pain in my left front upper abdominal area when I roll over at night? Started feeling a one time stabbing pain on an occasional evening several weeks ago when I rolled from back to side while sleeping. Woke me from my sleep one night this week. Now a dull pain and sensitivity to touch in same area all the time. No other symptoms at all.
1. Do not eat spicy food. 2. Take medicines for gastritis such as Pantop/Omez/Rantac. 3. Take little food at frequent intervals. Have Breakfast around 8 am, small snack at 11 am, lunch at 1 pm, small snack at 4 pm and dinner at 8 pm. 4. Drink plenty of water. 5. Do not smoke, take alcohol or tobacco and even excess of coffee and tea. 6. Do not take much of stress. Stress aggravates gastritis. 7. Do regular exercise, at least half an hour per day. 8. Learn meditation techniques. 9. Follow this regularly for 21 days. It is said that anything you practice regularly for 21 days becomes a habit.
