What Does Sharp Pain In The Lower Abdomen Indicate?
I have been experiencing sharp pain in my lower back, not everyday but when it appears usually last several days, difficult to even walk, sometimes feels like middle of lower back sometimes only on one side or the other. It may not even be my back but radiating from somewhere else, it is hard to tell, feel no pain or ache in my lower stomachbett
1. As it is slightly difficult to know about your age and gender thus cannot comment on the type of pain since the abdominal pain has several potential causes and site can vary due to the presence of anatomical structures [in male and female].
2. At present all I can say is that it might be a 'gastrointestinal' symptoms thus you should contact either a general surgeon, gastroenterologist or Gynecologist and if not sure consult your GP who after reviewing your case history and physical examination will refer you to specialist concerned.
PS. The most common diagnoses of lower abdominal pain relate to uterine, gonadal, renal, and bladder complications. [less common causes like primary dermatologic and musculoskeletal problems as well as referred pain and neuropathies related to underlying vertebral and spinal cord complications can also occur]
